Our Humble Beginnings...

In 1957 Sotirios "Steve" Siettas Founded Steve's Produce from his very own garage. Buying potatoes and onions wholesale from local growers and produce terminals in michigan, he would bag each item, and sell them to local restaurants, and grocery stores. Steve's Produce has been a family owned and run company since its start in steve's garage.

Moving to their current location in 1975, Steve's Produce began to expand. shifting from just carrying potatoes and onions, Steve's Produce now carried several varieties of fruits and vegetables. Everything from Apples to Oranges, and Broccoli to Zucchini, Steve kept it in stock and ready to ship out to his customers at a moments notice.

After many years of working hard, and building a well known business in the lansing area, Steve passed away in February of 2003 at the age of 70. Not willing to let the family business fall Gus and Mike Siettas, Steve's two Sons, have worked with the company their whole lives. Continuing the traditions their father started, they now co-own and run Steve's Produce Inc.

Into 2005 Steve's Produce Inc. Provides the freshest fruits and vegetables to many restaurants and local grocery stores, also Lansing and surrounding school systems including Michigan State University.
